Display Jinsha Culture Promote International Exchange Successful Conclusion of the Opening Ceremony of Traditional Chinese Culture Education Base

    On Mar. 6, 2012, the Opening Ceremony of “Traditional Chinese Culture Education Base” between Chengdu ISC International School and Jinsha Site Museum was grandly held in Jinsha Theater, after which, more than 300 international students had an adventure of the ancient Shu and Jinsha (Adventure in Jinsha) in the Museum. 

    In the beautiful music of the chorus from ISC International School, both sides managed to conclude a cooperation agency on traditional Chinese culture education. It is learned from Yao Fei, the deputy curator of Jinsha Site Museum, “the cooperation based on friendship shall be a bridge between history, tradition and global culture, and a platform for the supplementation and win-win of cultural and education institutions. We sincerely wish that foreign students from ISC would know more about the profound traditional Chinese culture through Jinsha while making Jinsha more international.”

    After the Opening Ceremony, 16 adventure teams consisting of teachers and students from different countries had a travel of Chinese culture in the unique human landscape of Jinsha Site Museum, including the Ebony Forest and Road of Jade. Main actors of “Jin”, “Sha”, “Chou”, “Fish” and “Mrs.Huarui” in the music theater Jinsha joined in the adventure as the guards of passes. With their assistance, participants finally passed the maze and other games like the Crow and the Water Bottle, and Treasures in Sand. The final test was a jigsaw of Jinsha outside the Hall of Relics. 

    Since the excavation of “Jinsha Site”, the “Sun Bird” being a “Logo of China Cultural Heritage” and the nationwide and worldwide population of the music theater Jinsha, the name “Jinsha” has turned to the most famous name card of Chengdu for its culture. Jinsha Site Museum is the carrier and collector of Jinsha Culture, and a representative of traditional Chinese culture. The establishment of a traditional Chinese culture education agency in cooperation with Chengdu ISC International School which is set up for foreigners in Chengdu shall be a response to the decision of the Party on its Sixth Plenary Session of the Seventeenth Central Committee to promote the socialism culture development and prosperity, to show the international friends and youth the profound and charming traditional Chinese culture, to offer them a chance of knowing more about Jinsha with joys in archaeology and of transmitting the culture of Jinsha, the culture of Chengdu and the culture of China in a global range.
