Exhibition of Cultural Heritage Day Online Activities at Jinsha Site Museum: "Colorful Relics, Comprehensive Well-off Society" in 2020

  Since 2006, the second Saturday of June has been designated as “China Cultural Heritage Day”. This year, China Cultural Heritage Day falls on June 13th. As a national archaeological site park, Jinsha Site Museum has important responsibilities in the protection, research and exhibition of cultural heritage. Especially in the context of the integration of culture and tourism and how to make the cultural heritage more vividly to attract the public is a question we have been contempting.

  Section One: The Happy Life of Ancient Shu People

  2. Live Streaming Content: Gold-inlaid jade. "Gold-inlaid jade" refers to the production of gold or jade artifacts using a special gold and jade processing technique(inlaying gold objects in jade ornaments or inlaying jade stones in gold objects).

  3. Speaker: This lecture will be delivered by Zhang Wei, a member of the Shanghai Museum Research Institute, member of Shanghai Cultural Relics Appraisal Committee, and vice president of the Jade Specialized Committee of the Chinese Society of Cultural Relics.

Ms. Wei Wei will take you into the ritual area of Jinsha Site, to understand the stories behind the unearthed relics and experience the mysterious ancient Shu Jinsha ritual culture.
