For the coming eighth Chinese Cultural Heritage Day, the Exhibition on Cultural Relics of the Mawangdui Han Dynasty Tombs, jointly presented by Chengdu Jinsha Site Museum and Hunan Provincial Museum, opened at Jinsha Site Museum on June 5, 2013, and the exhibition will run until September 5 this year.

At the opening ceremony, actors wearing traditional Han costumes played musical instruments, performed a sword dance, and saluted in traditional manners. A wonderful Han costume show was presented to the public.

The exhibition includes 120 pieces/sets of precious cultural relics unearthed from three Han dynasty tombs in the Mawangdui site(Han Dynasty: 202 BC - 8 AD), supplemented by relics unearthed from other parts of Hunan.
