The Presence of French Sèvres style Porcelain at Jinsha Site Museum

On October 17, 2015, Trois siècles d'élégance: Manufacture de Sèvres 1740-2015, co-organized by Jinsha Site Museum, Sèvres, City of Ceramics and Limoges in Limoges and Galerie Dumonteil, kicked off at Jinsha Site Museum with Consulate General of the Republic of France in Chengdu, Deputy Counsellor of Cultural and Educational Cooperation of French Embassy in China and leaders of Chengdu city government, as well as cultural luminaries from all walks of life presented. The exhibition walked the audience through the long-standing manufacturer and its relation with Chinese culture. The exhibition will continue until December 17, 2015.

Over a hundred delicate porcelains produced by Manufacture de Sèvres over the span of three centuries are displayed in four sections, all telling the fascinating stories of the sophisticated French ceramic craft.
