Sichuan Face Changing Art Stages Bowers Museum

The itinerant ancient Shu exhibition greeted the audience in Bowers Museum in October 2014 in Los Angeles, CA. Bowers Museum also held a series of cultural exchange events celebrating Chinese New Year during the Spring Festival to immerse Americans in the charming traditional Chinese culture.

Peng Xiaohui, an instructor from Sichuan Vocational College of Art joined the cultural exchange events.

On February 21, 2015 at the new year banquet held by Bowers Museum, Peng introduced the historical origin and the development of Chinese mask culture and Sichuan face-changing art while referring to the masks found in Sangxingdui and Jinsha. He also gave a live show of face changing performance.
