Release Time: 2016-07-20
The year 2016 marks the 30th anniversary of the discovery of the sacrificial pits in Sanxingdui site. To honor the event, the exhibition Bronze Civilizations in the Yellow and Yangtze River Valleys during the Shang dynasty (1600 BC-1046 BC), co-held by Sanxingdui museum, Jinsha site museum, and 6 other institutions, celebrated its opening ceremony on July 18th.
The ancient Jinsha culture, though independent from the two branches of Chinese civilizations, had once been influenced by them for a long time. It is reported that 24 national first-grade cultural relics including the concave jade zao Chisels, jade cong vessels, stone tiger, and stone human figurines are to be displayed.
