Hoang Trung Hai, Vice Primer of Vietnam, Visited the Jinsha Site Museum

On Jul. 26, 2008, Vice Primer of Vietnam Hoang Trung Hai visited the Jinsha Site Museum in Chengdu, accompanied by Xie Hong, Vice Chairman of the CPPCC of Sichuan Province. Leng Ailing, Secretary of CPC General Branch of Chengdu Museum (Brigade and Institute) accompanied during the visit.
Under the guidance of the instructor, Vice Premier Hoang Trung Hai visited the Chinese cultural heritage logo–permanent commemorative sculpture, the Hall of Relics, one of the excavation sites and the Exhibition Hall for displaying unearthed cultural relics. He showed a high interest to the Whole Jinsha Site, from time to time to asking the excavation and protection of the site. He spoke highly of the conservation status of the site and marveled at the developed degree of the ancient Shu civilization. Particularly, the gold ornament “Sun Bird”, the gold mask, jade Cong and other fine cultural relics left him a deep impression. The unique building style and magnificent momentum of the Jinsha Site Museum also won the recognition of Vice Premier Hoang Trung Hai, who was amazed at such a modern, magnificent and first-class museum possessed by Chengdu.
After the visit, Vice Premier Hoang Trung Hai presented the souvenir with Vietnamese characteristics to the Jinsha Site Museum, and gave the museum a high evaluation on the protection of the site, the exhibition and service level. On behalf of the Museum, Secretary Leng Ailing gave a “Sun Bird” souvenir in return.
