To express our gratitude to international friends, the Jinsha Site Museum warmly received friendly people from the Los Angeles Fire Department on May 24, 2008. They were accompanied by Zhu Zhangyi, Deputy Curator of the Museum.
The delegation from the Los Angeles Fire Department visited the garden area, the Hall of Relics and the Exhibition Hall, carefully listening to the introduction and the fine cultural relics and speaking highly of the modern, fashionable and creative exhibitions in the Museum. They said that the contents of the exhibition halls were coherent and logical and they systematically and completely showed the world the production and living conditions in ancient Jinsha 3,000 years ago. At the same time, the delegation from the Los Angeles Fire Department gave a high praise to the grand building of the Museum.
During the visit, the Los Angeles Fire Department was also particularly concerned about the possible impact of the Wenchuan earthquake on the cultural relics, hoping that the people of the disaster areas will be able to resume production, life and rebuild their beautiful homes with the help of many countries and caring people as soon as possible.
