Foreign Diplomats in China Visited the Jinsha Site Museum

From Oct. 20 to 25, 2007, activities of "the 3rd Foreign Diplomats in China Contact with the Chinese Cultural Heritage", organized by State Administration of Cultural Heritage who is commissioned by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, came to Sichuan. 13 embassy ambassadors of Philippines, Algeria, Mauritius, Nigeria, Syria, Kenya and other countries in China visited the Jinsha Site Museum on the morning of the 20th with their wives, accompanied by the leaders from the Sichuan Cultural Relics Administration, Chengdu Museum and the Jinsha Site Museum.
The ambassadors visited the Hall of Relics and the Exhibition Hall successively. After listening carefully to the introduction of the exhibitions and the protection for the cultural relics in the Jinsha Site Museum, they expressed the praises with "very good!" from time to time. They were surprised at the developed of the ancient Shu civilization and amazed at such a modern, majestic and first-class museum possessed by Chengdu.
After watching the 4D film, the ambassadors applauded warmly in unison, speaking highly of the advanced display means in the Jinsha Site Museum and thankful for the visual enjoyment and cultural feast brought by the Jinsha Site Museum.
After the visit, the ambassadors gave the museum a full affirmation and recognition. The Jinsha Site Museum said that in the future, it will further protect and promote the Jinsha site—the cultural heritage of all mankind, and constantly improve the museum's software and hardware services, further enhancing the museum services level, strengthening international exchanges and cooperation, establishing a good image as the city card and making the Jinsha Site Museum a first-class in China, the most advanced museum in the world.
