At the Museums’ Annual Award Ceremony, the Jinsha Site Museum Won Four Awards

On the 38th International Museum Day, the 5·18 International Museum Day and the Museums' Annual Award Ceremony sponsored jointly by Chengdu Municipal Bureau of Culture, Chengdu Commercial Daily, and Chengdu Museum, the prizes of the “My Favorite Museum”, “My Favorite Instructor”, “My Favorite Museum Collection” and added “Special Honors for the Instructor” voted by the Chengdu Business Daily readers and the users of Chengdu Business Daily official microblog and WeChat were awarded. The Dean of the Palace Museum, Shan Jixiang, made a special trip to Chengdu to participate in the awards ceremony.
At the awards ceremony, the Jinsha Site Museum obtained all the awards, becoming the one with the most awards. The Museum expressed its gratitude to all the voters and also congratulated all the other award-winning museums!
The senior instructor of Jinsha, Hu Xiaorong won the award of “Special Honors for the Instructor”.
At the awards ceremony on the evening of May 18, 2014, the instructor of the Jinsha Site Museum, Zhang Jiaai, gained the award of "My Favorite Instructor", with her fluent explanation in Chinese and English, deep historical and cultural attainment and sun-like warm smiles.
The award of “Special Honors for the Instructor”, added by the sponsors, is the biggest affirmation to Hu Xiongrong. She, at the age of 61, has 30 years’ experience as an instructor, and now she still insists on working at the museum, and speaks for the cultural relics and history. The editor-in-chief and general manager of Chengdu Business Daily, Chen Haiquan, as the award presenter, presented the “Lifetime Achievement Award” in the instructing field of Chengdu to Hu Xiaorong.
