List of National Level-1 Museum Evaluation 2012 Revealed The Museum at the 26th Ranking as a New Applicant

On Sep. 24, the State Administration of Cultural Heritage revealed the Notice on the Evaluation of National Level-1 Museum 2012 (WWBH `2013` No. 1837) on its official website, in which, Jinsha Site Museum was named with a ranking of 26 amongst the 95 applicants.
According to the results, the Museum ranked the 26th comprehensively with total score of 67.47, rated “qualified”. Such a result reflected that our overall development and operation in 2012 were in accordance with the Evaluation Rules of National Level-1 Museum. Besides, the Museum got a ranking of 23rd (70.16) and 68th (56.71) in qualitative and quantitative evaluation, proving our quality and efficiency in planning and action, in particular, public relations, tourist service, and temporary exhibition and security management. Also from the score we saw our weakness in employee training and further study, research results and collection restoration, which will be further enhanced in the following year on the basis of the present operation results.
