Cultural Exchange Agreement Signed between the Chengdu Museum and the Kyushu National Museum, Japan

    On Aug. 25, 2015, an academic and cultural exchange agreement was signed by and between the Chengdu Museum and the Kyushu National Museum, Japan in the lecture hall of the Jinsha Site Museum, for which, a delegation of 6 from the Kyushu National Museum, including its curator Nagashima Tanihiroko, and deputy curator Eizo Nishimura, Mr. Wang Yi, the curator of the Chengdu Museum, Mr. Li Jin, the chief of the Museum and Social Cultural Relics Section of the Chengdu Culture, Radio and TV, Press and Publication Bureau and other 50 principals of the Chengdu Museum, the Jinsha Site Museum and related business fields showed up.

    The Kyushu National Museum was the national museums following the ones in Tokyo, Kyoto and Nara. Since opening, it has been committed to promoting the cultural exchange in Asia by signing cooperation agreements with the Nanjing Museum, Inner Mongolia Museum and Art Exhibitions China. Since 2013, the exchange between the Museum and Chengdu Museum has been carried out many times for more understanding and trust, laying a solid foundation for further cooperation. The agreement marked an official sister museum relationship that the two museums will carry out a full range of cooperation in cultural relics protection and research, display and exhibition, popularization and social education in the future to achieve the positive interaction between China and Japan in culture.
