2010 Jinsha Sun Festival

The Second “Jinsha Sun Festival” to be Held in Jinsha Site Museum from February 8 to 28, 2010

The Jinsha Culture lantern fair continues to be one of the highlights of this year's event, and still features Jinsha's sun worship as the main theme, combined with similar worshipping cultures in other parts of China and other countries. The idolization of tigers and trees serves as major complements to the light show. The super large festoon groups mark history in Chengdu's lantern show records, such as the grand Sun Temple, the quaint Water & Land Attack Map, the refreshing Sun Drum, and the dreamy Holy Tree. Vistors shall be amazed by the unprecedented visual attraction.

This year's magnificent Jinsha parade will not only feature beautifully flowered floats touring the park, but also such activities as Russian horse teams,  puppet shows, and cosplay performances. The Gold Face Kingdom Carnival Night follows fashion trends while the Jinsha Magic City restores the ancient way of living and production. Despite opposite styles, they complement each other and will surely make you linger without wanting to go home.

The second Jinsha Sun Festival is still supported by a temporary ticket preferential policy, charging RMB 20 per visit.
