The Jinsha Sun Festival held by Chengdu Jinsha Site Museum has celebrated its 10th anniversary since its establishment in the spring festival of 2009. According to introduction, Jinsha Sun Festival presents cultural elements based on three parts including sun worship, ancient Shu civilization and traditional folk customs in lively, dynamic and full way with themed lanterns, songs and dances as well as flower modeling while bringing in overseas key exhibitions every year, for which tourists can know more about the history and culture while appreciating lanterns, flowers, gardens and performances.

This year, the team from Zigong Lantern Festival and Trade Co., Ltd. extends a happy life picture of light and shadow with the newest materials and advanced manufacturing processes for the tourists in Jinsha Sun Festival. On the lantern festival, citizens can appreciate the world and Chengdu while tasting the history, culture and traditional folk customs.

The colored lantern industry is popular on holidays. As the materials and techniques are changing, the industry has formed a quite mature industrial chain and lantern shows are widely favored due to newly added elements such as creative ideas, culture and ecology, light technology and energy conservation and environment protection. Especially in recent years, lantern shows with rich traditional Chinese characteristics have been held overseas, introducing the unique Chinese charms to the world. In 2014 and 2015, Jinsha Site Museum participated in the Korea Soul International Lantern Festival successively and presented the distinctive ancient Shu culture with traditional colored lantern techniques of China.
