On International Museum Day on May 18, 2015, museums around the world will hold various kinds of publicity and commemorative events to allow more people to learn about museums. Jinsha Site Museum will also be open to the public for free today and release a whole new collection of poems about cultural relics entitled Tales of Jinsha to celebrate this festival.

Poetic Jinsha: Carry the Tales of Jinsha with Poems 

Tales of Jinsha , written for a year by the poet Peng Zhiqiang is a collection of poems about ancient Shu culture, the Jinsha kingdom, and the 500-year-old history of Chengdu previously under the surface. The poetic lines recall the living and production, as well as the sacrificial culture of ancient Shu people, and thus filling the literary void of this mysterious period in history.
