June 8th of 2013 marks the eighth Cultural Heritage Day in China. To better enforce the protection and utilization of cultural heritages, Jinsha Site Museum and Hunan Provincial Museum have held a special exhibition called Cultural Relics of the Mawangdui Han Dynasty Tombs, along with a variety of activities. 

Visitors will admire the embroidery artifacts of the Zang and Qiang ethnic groups, as well as the magnificent Thang-ga works located outside the Relics Hall. On the same day, the Restoration Center for elephant tusks will debut on dedicated hours, allowing tourists to have a glimpse at the high-tech ways of protecting these ancient remains.
