In order to implement the instruction of General Secretary Xi Jinping at the 39th Collective Study of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee that “we should have a deeper understanding of the history of Chinese civilization development over the past 5,000 years, take the study of the Chinese civilization development to an in-depth level, and enhance historical self-awareness and cultural confidence,” as well as to prepare for the 31st Summer Universiade, which is to be held in July 2023 in Chengdu, and showcase the Chinese unique spiritual qualities and developmental patterns, the “Golden Light Shines Miles Away: Bronze Civilization in Southwest China” will be presented at the Jinsha Site Museum in Chengdu this Saturday (May 27th). The exhibition brings together 294 pieces /sets of cultural relics represented by bronzes from the Pre-Qin to Qin Han periods. The exhibits are from 32 cultural and exposition units in Southwest China, making the exhibition the largest of bronze civilization in Southwest China with the largest scale, the largest number of exhibits and the highest grade of cultural relics at present.
