Combination of Jinsha and Hotpot: More Authentic Chengdu Flavor
Among the cultural relics unearthed at Jinsha Ruins, the most prestigious “Sun and Immortal Birds Ornament” has not only become the sign of China cultural heritage, but also a symbol of Chengdu and “endorses” the hustle and bustle of Chengdu. The co-branded theme store integrates Jinsha Collections into decoration, making it a unique experience to explore authentic flavors in Chengdu through these familiar Chengdu cultural symbols. The combination of museum and hotpot is a rare and innovative cross-border cooperation in Chengdu and even in China.
Edible “Sun and Immortal Birds Gold Ornament” and Mystery Boxes “Bronze Standing Figure”
The co-branded mystery box is based on the bronze standing figure and is limited edition, which makes it both playful and collectible.
In addition, the co-branding also launches quite different cultural and creative products which can be ate. There is not only a co-branded butter soup base shaped in Sun and Immortal Birds Gold Ornament and also the ingenious use of hammer to break the ice and fish the goose intestine to imitate the archaeological process of the Jinsha site. This makes simple foods more culturally ritualistic.
This cross-border cooperation combines the Jinsha civilization with the regional characteristic food culture that Chengdu people love. Thus, the fine traditional Chinese culture can go deep into people’s daily life and be highly in line with the strategy and pursuit of Chengdu’s construction of the World’s famous historical and cultural city.
Over the years, the Jinsha Site Museum has been committed to expanding the connotation of Ancient Shu civilization. By continuously exploring the innovative forms of “Ancient Shu +” and “Museum +”, it offers the visitors the way to feel the charm of traditional culture at any time anywhere and promote the innovative inheritance and development of fine traditional Chinese culture.
