On October 20, “Brushstrokes of Inspiration: Reclaiming the Splendor of Ancient Shu—Public Painting Exhibition” opens at Chengdu Jinsha Site Museum. This exhibition presents over 50 paintings collected from the public and offers a captivating glimpse into the public's perception of the Jinsha Site and their fantasies of ancient Shu civilization.
Boundless Imagination: Paintings Interpret Ancient Shu Civilization
At the site, the exhibition walls staggered with bright colors are extremely modern. More than 50 works from artists, school teachers, students, designers and other public are lined up in order. The intention of this exhibition is to discover the variation of interpretation of cultural heritage, so there is no restriction on the form of creation. Multiple forms of artistic works can be seen in the exhibition, such as watercolors, electronic hand-painting, canvas oil paintings, sketches, acrylic paints and composite materials, etc. The visitors can also extend their thoughts and find different perspectives of history while appreciating.
