In the early preparatory period of the Universiade, as the symbol of Chinese cultural heritage and the main part of the Chengdu city image logo, the Sun and Immortal Birds Gold Ornament was incarnated as the emblem of the Chengdu Universiade. Later, the Universiade torch and medals were released to the world.

Venue

Tens of thousands of pieces of colored glazed glasses assembled the world's largest Sun and Immortal Birds Gold Ornament (about 27,000m2) and flew to the world from this international event.

As one of the 16 cultural exhibitions and exchange stands of the Universiade, the “Golden Light Shines Miles Away—Bronze Civilization in Southwest China” is also regarded as a key exhibition display activity. In this short period of more than ten days, it attracted a lot of foreign friends and the Universiade press corps to Jinsha and explore the mystery of Ancient Shu and southwest bronze civilization.
