China's First Museum-Themed Plane Takes Flight

The “Jinsha Site” themed aircraft, jointly created by Chengdu Airlines and the Jinsha Site Museum, takes the ARJ21 aircraft, a commercial airliner with independent intellectual property rights in China, as a carrier, and uses the cultural elements of the Ancient Shu Jinsha and modern Chengdu as its main image, aiming to create a mobile museum in the air.

Three thousand years ago, people of Ancient Shu Jinsha put their longing for the sky and the sun on the treasures, and created the Sun and Immortal Birds Gold Ornament with skillful craftsmanship. Nowadays, as the main part of Chengdu image, the Sun and Immortal Birds Gold Ornament appears in landmarks and public transportation hubs. In addition to Jinsha elements adorning the aircraft's exterior, the spacious and bright cabin is also decorated with Golden Masks, Bronze Standing Figure and other Jinsha cultural relics, in concert with the pattern on the fuselage.

Upon its official launch, the Jinsha Site Museum's docent team is scheduled to regularly board the "Jinsha Site" aircraft to share Chengdu's history and Jinsha culture with the audience from all over the world.
