On June 11th, which is Chinese Cultural and Heritage Day, Jinsha Site museum hosted a series of cultural activities with diverse forms and rich content.

Lectures Transform Archaeological Sites into Cultural Classrooms

On June 10th, the "I'm Coming to Jinsha for Lectures" themed event was passionately conducted at Jinsha Site once again. This event added the subject of fine arts on the basis of preserving the historical courses, aiming to stimulate students' historical awareness and artistic creativity.

Inside the Relics Hall, teachers continuously guide students to learn about the ancient Shu civilization and get closer to Jinsha through the use of archaeological teaching aids, multimedia video demonstrations, and other methods.

Stepping Into the Subway Station, the Interpreters Become "Cultural Heritage Ambassadors"

The Jinsha Museum Station on Chengdu Metro Line 7 is not only an important transportation hub but also a public cultural space adorned with ancient Shu elements. The entire station hall ingeniously incorporates cultural relics such as the Sun and Immortal Birds Gold Ornament and Ten-sectioned Jade Cong unearthed from Jinsha into the environmental design.

To welcome Cultural and Natural Heritage Day, on the morning of June 10th, Jinsha Site Museum sent interpreters to the Jinsha Museum Station to conduct public interpretation activities.

The Excitement Continues with New Additions to Cultural Heritage Day

In addition to the exciting activities today, Jinsha Site Museum will also present two themed live streaming and fun educational activities for the audience on Cultural and Natural Heritage Day.

Online live streaming allows viewing from the clouds. The interpreters will lead online audiences to delve into the depths of the site from the commemorative sculpture representing Chinese cultural heritage and learn the stories of Jinsha's excavation.

Visit the museum and bring cultural creations home. The exhibition hall hides many secrets of the ancient Shu people's lives—what did they eat, wear, and what did their houses look like? The answers to these questions will be found in the "Seeking Ancient Shu in Jinsha" themed activity.
