Chengdu Jinsha Site Museum, jointly with MOBA Honor of Kings, launched a game skin— “Hai Yue—Three-Legged Golden Crow in the Red Sun” based on Ancient Shu Jinsha culture on March 18. Besides, both sides are planning to release cultural relics anthropomorphic skit, CG animation and other products. In this case, Jinsha Culture and Ancient Shu civilization can widen their target audience.
The Sun and Immortal Birds Gold Ornament is the most famous cultural relic among all discovered in Jinsha Site. It vividly reproduces the fairy tale—Three-Legged Golden Crow in the Red Sun in Classic of Mountains and Rivers, depicting Ancient Shu people’s pursuit of light, understanding of natural laws and longing for the sky.
“Hai Yue—Three-Legged Golden Crow in the Red Sun” game skin, jointly launched by Jinsha and Honor of Kings is inspired by Ancient Shu culture, and combined with core elements, such as the Sun and Immortal Birds Gold Ornament, Golden Mask and Bronze. The background story setting of this game skin is based on Three-Legged Golden Crow in the Red Sun and Vertical-eyed Bronze Mask, which lead netizens to follow the story and experience an Ancient Shu adventure.
Honor of Kings is a MOBA bred and launched in Chengdu. This cross-border cooperation combines Jinsha culture, which can be dated back to thousands of years ago, with a modern mobile game, so that the traditional fine culture can reach a wider audience. Over the years, Jinsha has been committed to expanding the ancient Shu civilization, from the musical Jinsha, presented in a variety of art forms, to the first museum-themed aircraft Jinsha, and the first cross-border co-branding with a hot pot brand. It is also a critical moment for the joint bidding of World Cultural Heritage for Sanxingdui and Jinsha. Carrying out cross-border cooperation will also help to enhance the public participation, dissemination and international visibility of Ancient Shu civilization, and warm up for the bidding of the World Cultural Heritage.
