The annual monitoring of national archaeological site park is an important way of assessing the effectiveness of the park in terms of protection, display and management. It is an important reference for the direction of the future development of site parks, and is extremely representative and instructive.

In 2010, Jinsha Site was identified by the State Cultural Relics Bureau as one of the first group of national archaeological site parks. Over the past decade, Jinsha Site has undergone a remarkable transformation from a mere site protection unit into a modern national archeological site park, which fosters an intimate dialogue between the site and the public.
