Chengdu Jinsha Site Museum Notice on Temporary Closure

Dear visitors and citizens,

To better fulfill our mission of protecting, researching, displaying, and inheriting cultural heritage, as well as improve the cultural services and visitor experience in the museum, the Chengdu Jinsha Site Museum will undergo comprehensive upgrades from December 5, 2025, to April 30, 2027. During this period, all areas of the Jinsha Site Museum will be temporarily closed to the public.

The comprehensive upgrades will involve systematic protection of the site itself and the museum’s collection, optimization of the exhibition system and venue spaces, upgrading the energy-carbon reduction systems, enrichment of the cultural experience scenarios, and improvements to the supporting facilities with barrier-free accessibility and age-friendly features. These efforts aim to provide you with more professional, intelligent, and high-quality services.

Visitors with unused reservations or purchased tickets may request a refund through the original booking/purchasing platform or at the museum's ticket office. Holders of annual or family pass may choose either an extension of validity or a refund. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused by this closure and deeply appreciate your understanding and support. We look forward to meeting you again at the new Jinsha Site Museum in future.
