Deer Party Poetic Jinsha

On the night of early summer, chirping cicadas are yet to come, but deer bleats…Since museums in Chengdu open longer, a night museum is no longer something new for local visitors, but attending a refreshing poetry party may be “first experience” for many people.

On the eve of 2019 International Museum Day, a poetic and archaeological poetry party titled “Deer Party Poetic Jinsha” is held in Jinsha. In the site museum at night, one side is the site of archaeological excavation, where ancient people once buried precious sacrifices three thousand years ago. On the other side of the wall is an exuberantly green venue of poetry party, which welcomes those who are on an “archaeological journey” in China, including famous composers Mendelssohn family members and other European cultural personages, poets and writers like Liang Ping and He Chun, archaeologists who also love poetry like Wang Renxiang and Tang Jigen, poetry fans recruited from the museum’s fans, little volunteers who are only 10 years old and Jinsha’s young guides. They read poems and play music together, spending this beautiful summer night particular to the museum.
